Friends
of Raystown Lake -is raising funds to add lights to the
numbered mile markers on the lake in addition to areas that are
difficult to navigate during the night or in the fog.
4-H of Huntingdon County - The backbone of 4-H is the system of volunteer leaders who lead 4-H clubs. Don't be surprised though, if you see 4-H in other places! We visit school, operate 4-H camp, and have occasional trainings for 4-H and non 4-H youth, known as special interests groups. These lights are
solar powered and cost $150 each. It is estimated that $1000 is still
needed to complete the project. Currently, $3000 has been donated to
